Research has shown that the average Briton will waste 5 hours and 35 minutes in a queue each month – adding up to a massive six months of their life spent queuing.
Queuing for getting a drink at a bar, to pay at a shop, and waiting for a bus or train were shown to be the things that Britons waited longest for, and were therefore most agitated by.
The research showed that the average drinker queues for a whopping 35 minutes every month to get a drink in a bar or pub.
However, the research also showed that there was a limit to people’s queuing, with 88% of people admitting that they have given up and left queuing for something for a long time.
One way in which bars and pubs can ensure that their customers aren’t left queuing for excessive amounts of time is to purchase a portable bar. Portable bars can be set up in any location to ease the pressure on the static bar – and can even be used as a feature or theme.
